Monday, June 10, 2013 - Rioja is rapidly taking on a bigger chunk of my vinous heart. It is layered, complex, great with food and a steal in today's market. This wine, with its lovely, mature ruby color, impresses with its leaf, earth, white flower and spice scented nose - the complexity! Medium bodied and elegant on the palate with enough wildness to keep things exciting. Super. I can't estimate the drinking window, but it is delicious now. (93)
