Saturday, July 13, 2013 - Unscrewed and left open for about 2 hours. Showing gorgeous ripe red berry and spice aromas, some hints of smoky meat, saddle leather, and campfire. On the palate it's still young and somewhat disjointed but there's a sense of greatness lurking in the bottle. I think this wine needs several more years to integrate and mellow, and then it'll be an incredible wine.
