Saturday, December 22, 2012 - Killed another '10 Carlisle. Needed a couple hours of air. Nose of pepper, iodine, violets and currants. Palate has tons of tannins, is fresh, and has a delightful purple fruit and meaty core. Moderate finish with repaying pepper, meat, purple fruit and a little mocha. Drinking well, but has plenty of structure to age.
