Sunday, January 13, 2013 - I opened this just over a day ago and it's sat in the bottle through that time, no decant. Listed alc of 13.8%. Really dark, classic Carlisle color. Aromatic of cracker pepper and light smoke, dried purple flower. This is just over medium weight, soft in intensity of blue /black fruit. Licorice, some crushed rock, tarry with decent acidity but overall, this is pretty gentle. I'd say the drink window on this would be now through say 2015. This is not a big wine or one with stuffing so accordingly, a good early drinker.
