2010 Carlisle Syrah Bennett Valley

Community Tasting Note

Tuesday, August 15, 2017 - Popped and enjoyed over two nights. This wine was surprisingly primary and shut down on night one. There were no objectionable tannins. The wine was just soft and simple. On the second night the wine actually stiffened up structurally and added classic Carlisle fruit and spice notes. I would recommend holding bottles for at least 3 years to let them develop.
