Tuesday, April 14, 2020 - I agree with a previous reviewer that described this offering as thin and lacking depth. I'm not sure if this Cab has gone into a dormant phase, because the nose lacked presence and a sense of place. It's drinking more like a young Bordeaux or a Turley Zin with red fruit and a lot of spice and grainy tannins on the back end.

Some may really appreciate a more restrained and elegant Cab, but I was disappointed at this price point. Interestingly this wine falls in line with more current trends in Napa Cabs, where the fruit is dialed back with an old world structure. This Cab is built for aging and can easily use another 10 years to reach peak.
