Monday, April 25, 2016 - It was my neighbors birthday, so I went home and got this to celebrate. Pop and pour, it really needed more air. The last glass was the best. Still, it was delicious now. Purple in color. The nose has leather, cassis, some spice and vanilla. On the palate, this is very smooth, not quite seamless as the oak and tannins are still present. Another few years though and it should be there. Lots of depth and complexity. Great acidity. Long finish. Gorgeous wine.
