Thursday, July 7, 2016 - The Williams Selyem reputation generally rests on its Pinot Noirs, but their "under sung " Chardonnays are of the highest quality and should be mentioned with Aubert, Kistler, etal. The 2010 Allen is n elegant, extremely well balanced wine from it's redolent bouquet through a long complex finish of lemons, apples and pineapples, with just the right amount of oak to bring everything together.
