In contrast to jonradus, it did taste like an aged Riesling to me -- no petrol (which is fine with me -- not my fav), but there is a certain richness and depth that Riesling acquires over time, and this wine certainly had that. Moreover, my bottle held up well through the bottle, and it was consumed along with some other quite decent wines.
