Sunday, August 3, 2014 - A brutally good Silvaner, the 2011 Feuervogel delivers a razor sharp and almost crystalline acidity combined with flowers and a spiciness. This combination is amazing and brings out the very best sides of this varietal. Only a genius could produce this type of wine. The palate is rich, creamy and adds a brilliant structure to the overall impression. The length on the finish just keeps going on and on. Not perhaps, but certainly the best Silvaner I have ever tasted. The Feuervogel totally rocks any boat she sits in!
