Saturday, November 19, 2011 - Decanter Ridge Vineyards Masterclass (Landmark Hotel London): Sweet and earthy nose. Evolved, mature but elegantly so. Less black fruit that is typical for the wine, so more to my liking. In the palate a mineral dimension complements earthy flavors, cassis fruit and sweet spice like cinnamon and nutmeg. Ripe and elegant with beautiful texture its earthiness reminded me a little of a top Pessac-Leognan.
