Friday, September 27, 2013 - Woody spice and some forest floor/umani , followed by some dark red fruit, almost feel like a Rhone wine. The palate is a bit thin, and mineral, almost salty aftertaste with wood influence, but then it delivers a beautiful ripe fruit finish. A very characterful Barbera, better served around 14 celsius for the fruit.
