Saturday, June 10, 2017 - This was a luscious Pinot Noir, with plenty of structure to back up delicious black cherry flavors. This wine still has years of life left in it and I expect will get even better over the next several years (if not longer). Oh, how I wish I had bought more of this wine, which was made by one of the Momtazi daughters, who was very young at the time (mid-20's?).
We drank the wine with pork chops with a dried cherry and onion topping, quinoa and wild rice, and broccoli. It was a perfect accompaniment to the food.
