Monday, December 22, 2014 - Light to medium garnet, nose of lilacs and roses. Dry with tart tannins on the PnP, nice acid balances the chewy fruit, red berry and tart pie cherries, some slightly bitter stone fruit tannins adds to the complexity of flavors. Somewhat restrained, not quite AFWE, but getting close. On the second night I get a really nice aged fruit, some plums and blackberries with some tart mineral. Beautifully balanced with acid, fruit and light tannins on the finish.
