Saturday, April 6, 2013 - VEO tasting - Moselle, Saar and Ruwer (Restaurant Bolenius, Amsterdam): Lovely nose, deep, dark and masculine, good ripe fruit, rich spicy oak, hint of toast; on the palate a nice weight and balance, very solid but on the dry side in the tannins; good length. Attractive nose, lacks charm and some stuffing on the palate. A very generous impromptu gesture from Frits after an evening of Riesling...
