Friday, January 16, 2009 - Very dark, almost black colour. Austere classic lead pencil nose, with black fruit (dark cherries, blackberries) in the background. Intense taste, still pretty closed, with wel-integrated tannins and good acidity. Long aftertaste with some fine-grained tannins. Not yet completely ready, but getting there. A bottle that will never be joyfull, but always "classic", austere and intense. A winter wine.
