Sunday, June 2, 2019 - Double decanted 10 hours prior to drinking. Undoubtably the wine of the year so far for me. A stunning wine at full maturity (with years to do before what I would bet will be a long, slow decline that will provide joy for decades). Nearly perfect exuberant nose. Superb structure. Super clean, very classic bright red fruit, roses, balsamic hints, tiny bit of tar, etc. Drank over 2-3 hours and simply kept getting better. Wow.
