Sunday, June 28, 2015 - Lighter golden color. Complex nose of slate/flintstone, yellow fruit, citrus, peach, mint and a touch of smoke. On the palate there is tons of saline minerality again and a very fresh and pure fruit of mainly yellow fruits. It's medium+ bodied but dense, with high acidity and just a little bit of residual sugar (still feels dry though). Long and complex finish. Year after year, this is one of the best dry Rieslings I know in Germany. And 2011 is an additional step up from my perspective. What a great wine and a fantastic value!
