Thursday, January 23, 2014 - Straw in color, this wine showed bright aromas of pear, nectarine, green apple, ginger and honeysuckle on the nose. The mouth feel brought a moderate amount of Spatlese level sweetness, held in check by the bright acidity. It also brought lime and other citrus notes plus minerality of slate and stones. The finish was moderate with the acidity, minerality, sweetness and fruit marrying well.

Purchased for $19US, this is a well made, enjoyable bottle of wine that is an excellent match for Asian food. I like the fact that its only 11.0% abv. I'd purchase a lot more of this if it was priced at $12US or less.
