Saturday, March 2, 2019 - Gosh, this was damn good. Audozed for one hour. Mostly tertiaries (esp. old leather, old cigar box, dried leaves), with fruit buried deep in the background. After two hrs open, black fruit and esp. cassis surfaced and made this a bit more generous and plump. Incredible balance. Tannins incredibly fine, almost powdery. Beautiful acidity. Zero obtrusiveness of oak or of alcohol. Label indicates only 12.5pct ABV. What a delight! Old Napa Cab - why did CA change its ways? I could drink this all the time.
