Sunday, January 19, 2020 - Opened in the bottle and drank over 1-3 hours (did continue to develop to a point). Silky smooth with no sharp edges or harshness to speak of. Full bodied with at least a few years of healthy life remaining. Sweet/smokey fruit accented by plenty of vanilla extract, coconut, leather, wild game, minerals and lavender. The Syrah clearly shines bright but the sweetness of the 5% Grenache adds nice complexity. Don’t see reason to hold much longer.
