Friday, December 28, 2012 - Disappointing - this was a bit of a unbalanced fruit bomb in my opinion. Easy drinking with plenty of plum and dark cherry fruits, but lacking balance and structure. There was also slight candied, cherry cola aspect on the finish which I found distracting. I understand Adam is trying to do with the appellation bottlings but this was a too one-dimensional and fruit dominant for my tastes, especially given the competition at the same price point e.g. Swans Cuvee de Trois.
