Agree with Galloni review. Soft, sweet, dark cherry pinot with decent body and spice that is easy to drink. A fine every day wine that isn't too serious but clearly better than the typical under $15 bottle.

Dark red color with bricking around the edges. Typical RRV aromas, spice, red fruit, earth. The palate is very spicy, cherry, cola, earthy. Good, but not great.

Dark cherry in color with bricking around the edges, this wine showed sexy aromas of blackberry, cola and asian spices. The mouth feel brought tastes of smoke, anise and black cherry, framed in the soft tannins and sweet acidity. The finish was medium/long in length with a nice combination of the fruit, acidity and tannins.
Purchased for $28.50US, this is a very enjoyable, somewhat fuller bodied RRV pinot from an outstanding producer.

This is a slightly stereotypical but quite enjoyable Sonoma PN. The nose features bushels of bright cherry and plenty of spice. The flavors also start with juicy bright cherry with additional cherry on the midpalate, ending with still more red cherry but adding some spice. Medium acidity and light tannins make for a medium-length finish. No one would ever guess this is anything but a California pinot noir, though given that it definitely has an enjoyable deliciousness & I wish I had more than one bottle.

Seems to have knitted together quite a bit since I tasted last (12/28/2012), and the fruit/acid imbalance doesn't seem so obvious. That apart my previous notes apply. Not bad, but not great either.

Bright color, good varietal nose and taste, but falls short of what might be expected for this price point, mainly in balance and structure. Not bad, but in no way remarkable.

Nose of ripe dark cherries, plums, and blueberry notes. Dark fruit, some spice, medium body, silky texture with a long finish resulted in a nice wine with grilled salmon. Not the most complex pinot but an excellent California pinot at this price.

Disappointing - this was a bit of a unbalanced fruit bomb in my opinion. Easy drinking with plenty of plum and dark cherry fruits, but lacking balance and structure. There was also slight candied, cherry cola aspect on the finish which I found distracting. I understand Adam is trying to do with the appellation bottlings but this was a too one-dimensional and fruit dominant for my tastes, especially given the competition at the same price point e.g. Swans Cuvee de Trois.

Spicy wild berry and cool sweet blueberry, with a faint gingerbread note. Superfine peppery tannins, light silky texture, and a long focused finish. Agree with fellow CTers; not at all complex, but has a lot else going for it, and a real bargain for quality RRV Pinot.

A bit young or maybe I got a bad bottle. This bottle did not quite measure up to the superb quality I've come to expect from Siduri Pinot Noirs.

Red/purple color. Nice balance between fruit and earthy flavors, strong cherry and a creamy smooth finish.
