Monday, August 12, 2013 - This is a slightly stereotypical but quite enjoyable Sonoma PN. The nose features bushels of bright cherry and plenty of spice. The flavors also start with juicy bright cherry with additional cherry on the midpalate, ending with still more red cherry but adding some spice. Medium acidity and light tannins make for a medium-length finish. No one would ever guess this is anything but a California pinot noir, though given that it definitely has an enjoyable deliciousness & I wish I had more than one bottle.
