Sunday, June 29, 2014 - Dark cherry in color with bricking around the edges, this wine showed sexy aromas of blackberry, cola and asian spices. The mouth feel brought tastes of smoke, anise and black cherry, framed in the soft tannins and sweet acidity. The finish was medium/long in length with a nice combination of the fruit, acidity and tannins.

Purchased for $28.50US, this is a very enjoyable, somewhat fuller bodied RRV pinot from an outstanding producer.
