Community Tasting Note

Tuesday, November 1, 2022 - I'm not quite sure even if there was a Auslese Goldkapsel in 2003. But I'm sure that most of the tasting notes given here refer to the Auslese with white capsule.

Light golden. Cellared under perfect conditions since release. Scents of lime, honey, flowers. Not highly complex or changing, but complex enough to be animating. On the palate it is still sweet enough to go with medium sweet dessers, but better as the dessert or as an aperitif. On the palate it shows more power, but all in all not living up to expectations given the 98 points from Pierre Rovani for the WA in Dec 2004. 5/12/17/10. -2030+ if perfectly cellared since release. Maybe it was more impressing in its youth.
