Friday, November 11, 2022 - I had low expectations for this wine at 12 years old. I was wrong! The nose was a bit pruney at the start, but delicious to sip: black cherry and currants, then tobacco leaf. The wine opened in the glass after about 10 minutes. After an hour, it was still good, but the flavor had faded somewhat. So I do not recommend letting it sit too long in a decanter or in the glass
