Friday, July 24, 2020 - 10 years after Riesling tasting - 2010 (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): *** brief impression from tasting event, no detailed tasting note ***
Glass: Gabriel Standard and Sophienwald Bordeaux
Bottle opened at noon, double decanted. Drunk about 8-10h later. Screw cap.
Clear, golden yellow color. Nose with lots of yellow fruit, some lactic notes, herbs, very nice.
On the plate very dense, deep and balanced. Beautiful yellow fruit and mineral notes. Very elegant and long. My best Landgeflecht so far. 92-93
