Saturday, August 18, 2018 - Popped and poured. This is a medium-red wine with ruby notes throughout and mouth-staining capacity in the glass. On the nose, I get sweet red fruit, some light mocha, and a touch of BBQ. In the mouth, the wine is full, expansive, and fleshy. The darker fruit aspects carry through to a largely sweet finish. Overall, this is heady and a bit four-square. I prefer the non-EBA version of this wine. 89 points.
