Wednesday, December 27, 2023 - This was good and still very young; I thought the warmer 09 vintage might be a bit more approachable and while this was drinkable, it was definitely still tight and young. Red fruited and very floral with classic tar notes and tobacco; lots of structure, but good fruit density. Good now with a rich meal, but will be better in 5+ years.
