Tuesday, September 24, 2013 - Paired with seared sea scallops over pasta with a lemon alfredo sauce. Tight nose with tart apple and stone. I thought the taste stayed with the Macintosh apple type acidity, didn't present much citrus, but had a nice undertone of minerals, banana and creme brûlée. Very clean, quick finish. A nice poolside wine, but just a gorgeous pairing with the scallops.
