Saturday, November 15, 2014 - Tasted at Wine Advocat event - A matter of taste. Tataaaaaaaa! My first Bojo in I don't know how many years - and what a nice surprise. The name Beaujolais of course being properly ruined by the amount of trash they produce there every year, you must feel sorry for the producers who try to make quality wine. Varietal. Gamay. Medium garnet. Expressive nose of cherry, spices, gingerbread. On the palate this is soft and succulent with an ever so slightly earthy under tone providing complexity. Great food wine. I would prefer this any day to the well crafted but always a bit character less Merlots/SabSavs from the new world mass producers. 91-92
