Saturday, December 13, 2014 - Opaque ruby color turning crimson at the rim with a nose of rich earthy nose of blackberries, currants, dried rosemary, bay leaf, and pepper spice. The palate is medium-bodied, dry with a silky texture on medium but bright acidity. Flavors of black currant, smoke, graphite, toasted oak, vanilla, and hanged meat. Delicately balanced and elegant. Finishes long with hints of spice and herbs. At its peak already. Drink now.
