Friday, October 26, 2012 - Dark crimson color. Really great nose of vanilla, chocolate, dark berries, coffee. Lots of decadent flavors on the palate with blackberry syrup, milk chocolate, vanilla, chocolate covered cherries and some sweet spices coming through. Sweet on the palate but not overly syrupy like some dessert wines. Paired with salted pretzel tart with dark chocolate and a thick layer of caramel. Wow!
