Saturday, July 13, 2013 - Cuvée 736 (vintage 2008, disgorged in October 2012) has opened up a bit since tastings in February and May. The nose displays impeccable autolysis, minerality, floral citrus-apple and a whiff of oak. The palate offers fine mousse, good body and firm structure to balance the high acidity, with a bone-dry and chalky yet fairly generous finish. We like the purist style here, like it a lot. Serious bang for the buck too. Stack away!
