Monday, August 2, 2021 - 24hrs of air in bottle already from Asparagus. Disgorged October 2012 (which I note seems to be earlier than most of the other bottles posted about here). Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, yellow gold colour. Thin legs. Fine perlage.
Nose rather muted, medium- intensity, with aromas of yellow apple, green apple, brioche and some cream. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12%), medium body. Medum+ flavour intensity, with flavours of honeyed nuttiness, brioche, cream peach, yellow apples, green apples. Medium+ finish.
Dosage 1.5g/l. 53% Chardonnay, 29% Pinot Noir, 18% Pinot Meunier.
2008 base, with reserve from 2006 and 2007.
