Tuesday, September 9, 2014 - Mature "Iconic Burgundy" dinner and tasting in Christie's board room, London. Limited note taking. (The only current wine at the dinner!)
Wonderful viscosity with ripe grapefruit, youthful heat, hint of asparagus and balanced by a steely mineral backbone. A superb (as one would expect) effort in a difficult vintage.
Drinking beautifully now and for perhaps another four years.
