Saturday, February 28, 2015 - Lunch in Antwerp with a classical pairing of oysters and Chablis, oysters produced from the mineral-rich sea floors, and the Montée de Tonnerre produced from the mineral-rich Kimmeridgian soil. On the nose This Montée de Tonnerre had green apple and white fruits. On the palate it was rich and clean with sea shells, citrus, and tremendous acidity. This was a great wine, and a perfect pairing with the Marenne d'Oleron M4 oysters.
