Saturday, April 18, 2015 - As this was being poured into the decanter its fruity quality gave off a strong rasberry-juice aroma that almost remided me of a kids' fruit-juice box. It smelled great....but seemed too much. But it calmed down quickly and after about 30 minutes of air everything came together. And earthy aromas and tastes (leather, predominantly for me) appeared to balance out the fruit. Noticeable tannins and acidity but both in balance. A wonderful, subtle finish that lasts quite a while. Nice wine. Should be great in a couple years.
