Friday, October 4, 2013 - Translucent ruby in the glass; sweet red cherry fruit on a nicely focused nose.

Decent acidity framing the fruit on the palate - nice finish. Not overly complex, but hard to argue with this wine given the price tag. Another in a long line of quality base chiantis available to the consumer - IMO, for plain Classico releases and even base riservas, hard to find a geographic area today with more QPR than Chianti.
