Friday, March 22, 2024 - Tasted Blind. Almost a Coche-like nose with citrus, nuts, touch of honey and gun flint. A bit reductive and subtle oak as well. On the palate this was big and rich but with enough acidity and energy to keep it poised. An intense wine with incredible texture. While more of a traditional Meursault profile vs the more linear and mineral Roulot, this Ente finds a way to remain refined despite the weight and intensity. This punches way above its level. I might have a slight preference to the Roulot (stylistically), but the hype of Ente certainly seems justified.
