Sunday, February 16, 2014 - Visiting Napa (Feb 13th - 17th); 2/13/2014-2/17/2014 (Napa, CA): Nose: Red Plum, Dark Cherry, Raspberry and Bubble Gum. Notes of celery root, mint and baking spice emerge as well. Palate: Dense and elegant on entry with a very broad palate feel. Cherry, Raspberry and anise right up front and some vanillin, mint and mineral notes run throughout the midpalate. Finish: Svelte and round with some fine tannin showing, but this is quite plush.

2/19/2014 6:48:00 AM - SBrick - I would suggest letting this age for another 2-3 years. I decanted it for about 2 hours before drinking and it definitely improved, but I think there is much more in the wine. A marked improvement was seen about 3+ hours into dinner.
Extended slow ox would be my move if opening another one.
