Thursday, April 25, 2013 - France 2013 - Côte d'Or; 4/24/2013-4/26/2013 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From barrel. Beautiful nose, pure and floral. Delicate palate, red fruited, good minerality. Great acidity. No green on the nose but a very subtle hint of green on the palate, but by no means is this wine full blown green like other 2011s I’ve tasted. This will be approachable early but still would be best to wait 5 years or so. Hopefully the hint of greenness remains subtle and/or dissipates over time.
