Friday, December 20, 2013 - Color is a burnt red/brown (like rust). Aromas of bright cherry, burnt cedar, fascinating earthy notes, subtle meat notes. On the palate, bright fruit (cherry), toasted wood, and very subtle baking spices. Refined, medium-bodied CdP. Toast gives the illusion of big mouthfeel, but tannins are mild & perfectly integrated, with enough acidity to provide balance.
