Friday, January 30, 2009 - Dark, ruby red in color. Dark spicy, smoked green pepper followed by a silky smooth, medium bodied finish. Oak hints abound, but it only adds to the overall texture of the wine. Tannins are not prevelant. I think the wine is ready to consume, maybe another 1-2 years in ideal cellar conditions.
