Friday, May 31, 2013 - Pretty dark purple-black in glass, offering up aromas of black fruits, palate opens with blackberry pie, evolves into layers of black currant, dark cocoa and saddle leather, bracketed by chewy-sweet tannins and leaving with a medium-long finish. Might be the best $13 Cabernet we've ever tasted, and a candidate for House Wine of the Year. 89++
