Monday, June 29, 2015 - Last bottle from a case purchased in the early '90s. Like saying goodbye to an old friend. I've been drinking through this case now for probably 20 - 25 years. Time to have the last one. It's lost intensity over the years, not a bit of tannin remains. Interesting 'cigar box' flavors and aromas, but my old friend has seen better days. Everything a little too resolved for me, nothing framing the wine. My 18yo son asked for a small glass (he likes beer!) and thought it tasted like water with a little something else in there. Drink up if you have them. Goodbye old friend.
