Thursday, September 19, 2019 - HDH auction at Spiaggia; 9/19/2019-9/21/2019 (Chicago, IL): #10601. Stunning nose here, with slightly crunchy red fruit. The palate is still clamped a little tight with a moderate bitter edge because of the intense tannins. Nonetheless, this is incredibly aromatic and expressive on the nose and attack, and it's just a matter of aging this appropriately now (15 years at least?).
