Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah combine to create a wonderful balance and synergy of flavor, texture and experience. Excellent fruit, aromas and flavors with scents of forest floor, flowers, black currant and black raspberries. Pure, seamless and velvety across the palate this is a rich and yet soft experience. Very well integrated overall with no apparent flaws or shortcomings. Thanks to Craig at Grand Cru for turning me on to this.
