Tuesday, January 18, 2011 - I was stunned. Still very much alive. Great fruit, nice balance with still sturdy backbone of soft tannins. Tasted a bottle a couple of years ago and it must have been going through a dumb phase because it was nowhere near the full bodied Spring mountain Cab that it was today. Nice blackberry, black stone fruit, a little anise and some lavender along with some subtle smoky oak. My last bottle and was expecting this to be a little past its prime but was mistaken. Nice bottle!
